StormiStormi is a 2021 Quarter Horse gelding. He is the youngest in the herd and has the biggest heart! He is so giving and kind. Stormi is great at teaching connection, listening, and relationship building skills. He is a great confidence booster for his human partners, a relaxed, smooth ride. He also has a fun and cheeky side that comes out when playing with his horsey friends in the pasture.

BrownieBrownie is a 2010 Percheron/Quarter Horse/Thoroughbred cross mare. Brownie has tons of experience helping youth unbridle their potential. Brownie is one of our tallest horses and is great at teaching confidence, as though she is tall, she is a gentle giant. She looks after her human partners and can walk with a slow, relaxed pace, or when you are comfortable in the saddle, she can pull out her big flowing stride - it's like flying on a magic carpet!

MukkiMukki is a 2020 Fjord/ Thoroughbred cross gelding and half brother to Wendell. Mukki is working on becoming a star at the discipline of hippotherapy. He has a lovely steady, rhythmic gait perfect for producing medical quality equine movement. Mukki is a sensitive horse who wants to please his human partner. He imparts courage to his human friends and helps people lower their walls.

WendellWendell is a 2019 Fjord gelding and joined the herd with his half brother Mukki. Wendell is one of the first horses to greet you at the gate. He always needs to know what is happening and wants to be involved in everything! Wendell's inquisitive nature makes him a crowd favourite. Wendell is great at teaching boundaries, assertiveness, friendship, and to trust in yourself.

SunshineSunshine is a 2013 Fjord mare. She is dedicated, steady, calm, and giving - the perfect partner for building confidence and trust in yourself and others. Sunshine takes care of you and knows when her human partner needs a calm and relaxing day, or when they're ready to pick up the pace and challenge. She is great at teaching trust, how to let go, release tension, and breathe. Sunshine truly is a ray of Sunshine at Sunshine Ranch.

PearlPearl is a 2013 Quarter Horse mare. She is extremely talented with heaps of experience competing in the western show ring and in mounted shooting - a full gallop race to shoot at balloon targets. Pearl's talent goes way beyond the show ring and at Stable Connections she is a steady girl, expert at making new friends and taking care of her human partner. She is very patient and helps her human friends understand and process their emotions, reconnecting to self and nature.

DexterDexter is a 2012 Quarter Horse gelding. He has many years experience in the arena, on the trails, and helping people find connection. Dexter is a sweet guy who can be anxious about making new friends. When you first meet him, he may be shy and aloof, but when you get to know Dexter he really opens up and shows you he's a huge love bug who really wants to be friends. When in the saddle, Dexter is slow and steady and really takes care of you. Dexter is great at teaching patience and understanding.

PatrickPatrick is a 2020 Fjord/Belgian cross gelding. He is learning how to be a great partner and friend to humans in his job at Stable Connections. Patrick is a sweet, sensitive, laid back guy, who wants to please you. He really mirrors his human friend's emotions and is good at teaching trust, patience, and using calm communication. His flowing blonde hair and love of being the centre of attention gives him a bit of a movie star air.

HoneyHoney is a 2018 Miniature Fjord mare and the Sunshine Ranch mascot! She's full of fun, snuggles, and sometimes mischievousness. She has a big personality in a small package. Honey loves to be brushed, which is a good thing as her mane is almost as long as she is tall! Honey is an expert at making you feel confident and empowered, especially for the smaller children. Honey teaches that even though you might be small you can be assertive - size doesn't matter to have a voice.

DordieDordie is a 2002 Fjord mare. She is the daughter of Sari. Dordie has a long resume of work experience. She's been driven as a team with her mom, Sari in parades, shows, and at birthday parties, and she's been a riding horse as well! There's not much Dordie can't do. She is now learning to help her human friends connect to self, others and nature. She is a true gift to everyone she encounters at the Stable!

SariSari is a 1999 Fjord mare, and the mother of Dordie. Sari has been teaching others to find the best in themselves for a long time. She taught her daughter Dordie how to be a good team mate as they were a driving pair in parades, shows and events. Sari was also a riding horse teaching others how to ride and bringing joy to so many! Now at Stable Connections Sari continues to spread joy and teach her human partners how to heal, learn, and grow.

Peter PanPeter Pan is one of our resident barn cats. He is a natural at sensing when someone needs comforting or help to regulate and comes running to help them. He loves sitting on the swing with his human friends and purrs as they swing rhythmically together. Peter is a master at finding quiet spots, such as a basket or box, to curl up in for a good snooze. Peter also likes playing and snuggling with our other barn cat Mickey Mouse.

Mickey MouseMickey Mouse is one of our resident barn cats. Mickey is part of our welcoming committee at The Ranch and is often one of the first animals to greet you when you arrive. He loves coming for kitty snuggles and pets, sitting on your lap and "kneading bread" with his paws as he purrs. You'll often see him playing together with his "brother" Peter Pan, our other barn cat, or enjoying a snooze in a sunny spot!
